Gender Equality Strategy for the Maritime Sector
This government strategy presents objectives and measures to strengthen gender equality and diversity in the Norwegian maritime sector. It identifies four focus areas: recruitment and role models; a working environment that benefits everyone; a working life free from harassment; and an adapted workplace. The strategy proposes concrete actions including industry cooperation, targeted recruitment and information campaigns, legislative reviews, strengthened supervision, and international engagement through IMO and ILO.
