Action Plan against Domestic Violence 2012
This national action plan (2012) sets out the Norwegian Government's short-term measures to prevent and combat domestic violence, building on previous action plans and organisational measures. It outlines priorities across awareness-raising, prevention, assistance and protection, detection and prosecution, coordination and knowledge-building. The plan emphasises special measures for children, victims, perpetrators and vulnerable groups, and addresses forced marriage, female genital mutilation and plans for a separate rape action plan. The measures are to be implemented within existing ministry budgets and will feed into a comprehensive white paper and a subsequent action plan for 2013–2016.
