Homeless in Norway A survey
This report presents the results from the fourth nationwide survey of homelessness in Norway, conducted in late November 2008. It documents the number of homeless people, their demographic profile, living situations and duration of homelessness, and compares findings with earlier surveys from 1996, 2003 and 2005. The study is based on reports from welfare and health authorities and related organisations, with weighting applied to adjust for non-response and sampling. The report provides municipality-level figures and discusses methodological strengths and limitations.
