Steel pipelines state of the art for internal condition monitoring and inspection technologies

The aim of this project is to sum up the state-of-the art technology and experiences with corrosion and erosion monitoring and internal inspection of steel pipelines, both in the North Sea and worldwide. The following items are included: 1. Review of methods for corrosion and erosion monitoring - evaluation of efficiency for different types of pipelines 2. Review of internal inspection methods applied to different types of pipelines – evaluation of quality and reliability. 3. Evaluation of internal baseline inspection as part of a philosophy for follow-up of internal condition of pipelines 4. Historical and future development of technology and tools for internal inspection of pipelines
