Equal rights – equal opportunities Action Plan for Women’s Rights and Gender Equality in Foreign and Development Policy 2013–15
This Action Plan outlines Norway's priorities and concrete measures to promote women’s rights and gender equality in foreign and development policy for 2013–2015. It emphasizes mainstreaming a gender perspective across all policy areas, strengthening coordination between foreign and development policy, and targeting interventions in health, education, economic participation, and peace and security. The plan stresses cooperation with civil society, diaspora groups, religious actors, and the inclusion of men and boys in gender equality work. It reaffirms Norway's commitment to international norms and to supporting partner countries in implementing their gender equality obligations.
