The World Bank and Poverty in Africa : A critical Assessment of the Bank's Operational Strategy for Poverty Reduction
The purpose of this report is to review experiences of the World Bank in operationalising policies for poverty reduction in Sub-Saharan Africa. Operationalisation is understood as the linkages between the Bank's strategies for poverty reduction and their lending programmes and interventions.
