The Government’s Climate Strategy for the Foreign Service 2025–2030 Strategy
This strategy sets out the Norwegian Government’s approach for integrating climate considerations into the Foreign Service for 2025–2030. It defines goals and guidelines and identifies key areas such as climate-security, polar regions, green transition and climate in development policy. The document emphasises cross-cutting integration of climate in diplomacy, strengthened analysis, access to expertise and resources, effective communication and a climate-aware organisation to promote Norway’s interests and ambitious international climate cooperation.
