Evaluation of medicine and health 2023-2024 Norwegian School of Sport Sciences (NIH) : Department of Physical Performance Department of Physical Performance

This evaluation focuses on the assessment of administrative units representing higher education institutions in the field of life sciences and health research for the years 2023-2024. Based on self-assessments, digital meetings, bibliometric analysis, and personnel statistics, the administrative units' capacity, research strategy, societal impact, and general performance have been evaluated. The report highlights strengths in strategic research planning, collaboration, and contribution to clinical and societal health, while addressing challenges such as dependency on external funding and workforce limitations. A set of recommendations has been provided to enhance relevance, interdisciplinary collaboration, and long-term sustainability.
