Conflict Transformation in the Palestinian Areas The Palestinian Bible Society (with support from The Evangelical Lutheran Free Church of Norway)

This external evaluation assesses the Conflict Transformation in the Palestinian Areas project (2013–2015) implemented by the Palestinian Bible Society. The evaluation reviews outcomes related to valuing differences, conflict reduction in schools, gender mainstreaming, media outreach and institutional sustainability, based on stakeholder interviews and project documentation. Findings indicate positive local impacts—especially among school counsellors and youth groups—recognition by stakeholders, and promising media initiatives, while noting weaknesses in national-level monitoring, limited human resources and funding constraints. Recommendations include expanding the project, strengthening monitoring and evaluation, increasing human resources, and strategic partnerships to improve sustainability.
