Background Report to Updated Brain Health Strategy (2025-2035)
This background report summarizes the process and evidence informing the draft updated National Brain Health Strategy for 2025–2035. It collates stakeholder input, national and international research, and a status review of the 2018–2024 strategy, including a 2024 review by Oslo Economics. The Directorate of Health presents general assessments and recommendations for the updated strategy, including proposed timeframe, objectives and follow-up measures. The report is intended as a knowledge base to support the Ministry's final strategy and subsequent action planning.
