This strategic plan (2011–13) updates Norway's 2006 action plan for implementing UN Security Council Resolution 1325, aiming to strengthen women's participation and protection in peace and security efforts. It defines priority areas—peace processes and negotiations, international operations, post-conflict peacebuilding, sexual violence in conflict, and reporting/accountability—and sets goals, activities and indicators for relevant ministries. The plan also outlines funding priorities, international cooperation, and measures to increase women’s representation in Norwegian delegations and international missions.
