National Pollinator Strategy A strategy for viable populations of wild bees and other pollinating insects
This is a national strategy to ensure viable populations of wild bees and other pollinating insects by strengthening knowledge, creating and maintaining good habitats, and improving communication. It sets out cross-sector goals and focus areas and assigns roles for public agencies and the private sector. A national pollinator forum led by the Norwegian Environment Agency will coordinate stakeholders and prepare an overarching action plan. The strategy calls for improved monitoring, targeted research on measures, and reduced threats such as habitat loss, invasive species and pesticide use.
