Statusrapport
Overvåking- og kartleggingsprogram for importerte trelevende insekt 2022
The project is funded by Norwegian Food Safety Authority (Mattilsynet) and the work is executed by Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research (NIBIO). It is established as a standby and monitoring project in case of interception of invasive and harmful wood living insect species. Traps and attractants are readily available in case species are found. The attractants are stored in deep freezers. The focus of the project is on Anoplophora and Agrilus species, but other insect species included in the EPPO lists are included. For 2022, four attractants were tested, using a trapping methodology established in 2021, at two different localities. No quarantine pests were detected during trapping.
