National Strategy against Antibiotic Resistance
The Norwegian national strategy outlines goals and actions for 2015–2020 to reduce total antibiotic use and promote responsible use across human, animal and environmental sectors. It adopts a One Health approach, calling for improved surveillance, mapping of resistance, better diagnostics, infection control and international cooperation. Sector-specific, measurable targets for human health, food-producing animals, aquaculture and the environment are presented, along with proposed monitoring and research activities.
