CLICK TO BUY (MORE) How fast fashion giant SHEIN uses dark patterns to push overconsumption
BEUC, the European Consumer Organisation, exposes SHEIN’s use of deceptive 'dark patterns' in online shopping interfaces, aiming to push overconsumption. These practices lead to economic harm for consumers and exacerbate environmental and societal issues linked to fast fashion. BEUC, along with member organisations, has filed a complaint with the European Commission urging action against SHEIN and similar practices in the sector.
