Teenage career development in Norway Insights from PISA
This paper explores the state of teenage career development in Norway. It sets out findings from the OECD Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), focusing on engagement in career development and perceptions of occupational and educational intentions. It compares responses from Norwegian students to OECD averages, highlighting disparities in career uncertainty and social background influences. Notably, Norwegian students engage more frequently with career guidance interventions but lack engagement with workplaces by age 15.
