The Nordic Approach to Introducing Computational Thinking and Programming in Compulsory Education
Nordic countries have a need for a strategic policy framework that provides a vision, a rationale, and clear goals for ICT in education. To provide an up-to-date overview of the position computational thinking and programming occupy in the school curricula of Nordic countries, a short survey was prepared. The survey was carried out in November-December 2017 and was based on an updated version of the questionnaire for MoEs used in the 2016 CompuThink study. The data collected were subsequently analysed and discussed during semi-structured interviews with an expert from each of the four countries to clarify key aspects and collect further information
