Mid -Term Evaluation of the Project on Social Intervention towards Sustainable Development (SISD)
VARD is implementing the project “Social Intervention towards Sustainable Development (SISD)” from January 2002 in Jamalgonj and Sunamgong Sadar Upazilas under Sunamgonj district aiming at sustainable increase in living standard and socioeconomic security of poor people in the Northeast region of Bangladesh. This is a mid-term evaluation. The purpose of the study is also to investigate to what extent the project has achieved its objectives in terms of reaching the poorest with level of awareness of community in the issues relating to sustainable livelihood, basic human rights, education and their practices.
