The Education Mirror 2007 Analysis of primary and lower secondary school and upper secondary education in Norway
In 2007, the findings of two international studies – PISA and PIRLS – were published, and these fuelled the debate in Norway on the state of the Norwegian school. The results of the Norwegian national tests from the county and municipal levels, and from the schools themselves, provided further input not only for the debate, but also, and not least, for quality development processes and local efforts.
