Distress and Damage Factors for Flexible Road Pavements
The Norwegian Public Roads Administration through the Norwegian Road Research Laboratory (NRRL) conducted a literature study on factors influencing damages to flexible pavements. The study focused on vehicle configurations, axle loads, tyre usage, road structures, and climate, aiming to present estimates of relative damages. The literature survey was managed by ViaNova AS, a consulting engineering company.
