Norwegian ERA Roadmap 2016–2020 National roadmap for implementing the European Research Area priorities
The Norwegian ERA Roadmap 2016–2020 sets national goals and actions to implement the European Research Area Top Action Priorities across six priority areas, including effective national research systems, joint programming, research infrastructures, researcher mobility, gender equality, and knowledge circulation. It summarises status, high-level indicators, concrete goals and timebound actions (for example an OECD review, revision of the long-term research plan, and trials of the Seal of Excellence). The roadmap was developed by the Ministry in dialogue with national stakeholders and is intended to strengthen complementarity with EU instruments such as Horizon 2020 and to be monitored and revised in line with the European roadmap.
