New knowledge on health effects of amines and their derivatives associated with CO2 capture : M-2691

The report, commissioned by the Norwegian Environment Agency, evaluates the health effects of emissions of amines, nitrosamines, and nitramines from CO2 capture facilities. It builds upon a 2011 report by the Norwegian Institute of Public Health and incorporates new literature to assess whether the conclusions need updating regarding carcinogenic risks. Limited new studies were identified, and the original recommendations remain unchanged.
