Evaluering
Gender and innovation Learning from regional VRI-projects
The conclusion of this report is that the large bulk of innovation studies conducted so far, focus on industries dominated by men. Innovation happening i "feminine" sectors i. e. where women work: in the service sector and in the public sector are scarcely studied, and hence they have not been regarded as innovative. This is an empirical fault which also stems from a narrow definition of innovation. The innovation concept and the innovation discourse are thus strongly gendered.
