Forward-Looking Mid-term Review of Norwegian Support to Research in Angola 2015-2018
The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Luanda has provided core financial support to the research institute Centro de Estudos e Investigaçao Científica (CEIC) at Universidade Católica de Angola (UCAN) since 2006, and since 2008 has also financed a research collaboration programme between CEIC and the Norwegian partner Chr. Michelsen Institute (CMI). This Midterm Review (MTR) is to address the following objectives: 1) To conduct a midterm review of the CEIC-CMI Research Programme 2015-2018; 2) To conduct a midterm review of the CEIC Core Programme Support 2015-2018, and 3) To assess the feasibility of future support to research in Angola, primarily in the areas of economics, social sciences and natural resource management.
